NOAA’s Tier2 Submit program has announced new reporting rules for facilities reporting chemical inventories in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. These changes add new data requirements, so it’s best to start preparing now.
If you’re reporting under Tier II in these states, here’s what’s new:
Not sure if you’re in a Community Water System Area? Facilities in Maine and Vermont can use EPA’s Community Water System Service Area Boundaries tool to check.
Encamp will automatically incorporate these new requirements into our platform. If your facility must report this data, your Tier II reports will clearly flag what’s needed.
These updates are designed to improve emergency preparedness. By requiring equipment lists and 24/7 contacts, first responders will know what resources are available on-site and who can authorize their use. For Maine and Vermont, the water system data adds another layer of protection for drinking water.
These changes may feel like extra work, but they also strengthen community safety. And with Encamp, you’ll have the tools and support to keep compliance simple. Want to learn more about how Encamp helps? Schedule a demo.
