Get ahead of Tier II. Get more trees planted.
The busiest weeks of reporting season are the easiest ones to avoid, if you start now instead of in January. Encamp already plants a tree for every Tier II report filed. Verify and submit yours early through the Early Data Initiative (by December 11, 2026), and we’ll plant two trees for every report you file, up to 500 trees.

Get Ahead of Tier II Changes
The EPA is rebuilding Tier II reporting around GHS-aligned hazard categories, expanding from about 23 broad categories to about 118 granular ones. Missouri is the first state to require the new categories, and it’s a signal worth paying attention to, even if your state isn’t there yet. Our upcoming webinar covers what to know before it reaches you.
Tier II Is Changing: What the GHS Shift Means for Compliance Teams September 23rd at 12:00pm ET. Encamp’s CEO Luke Jacobs and EPCRA expert Madison Roe join WSI’s Jesse Jones to cover:
- What’s changing with GHS, and why it’s a bigger shift than it looks.
- How the shift affects your chemical inventory and reporting timeline.
- What Missouri’s early move signals for other states.
- How a real compliance team stays ahead of shifting requirements.

Who can join the Early Data Initiative?
Any customer with Tier II chemical reporting obligations on the Chemical Module qualifies, across every engagement tier. This includes accounts that also have the Waste Module.
What does "verify and submit" actually mean?
It means confirming your facility list, chemical inventory, contacts, and reviewers are current, then submitting your Tier II reports in Encamp ahead of the January 1 filing window.
How many trees get planted?
Encamp plants one tree for every Tier II report filed through Encamp. Verify and submit yours through the Early Data Initiative by December 11, and we’ll plant a second tree for every report, two trees total per report filed (up to 500 trees).
When do I find out how many trees were planted?
Once you submit your reports, we’ll confirm your final tree count and share it with you directly. No need to check in before then.
Who do I contact with questions?
Reach out to your CSM anytime, or reply to any of our Early Data Initiative emails.
